7 Come 11 04:00
7 Come 11, and we cashed in all we'd won, blown to the wind I remember those days long ago I remember those nights we laid low Sneaking in the back door late at night we never got caught we played it right against the walls of St. Stephens we rolled the dice praying them old bones would come up right Now every single night you haunt my dreams till nothing in life is like it seems wonder now if you remember me I miss you like salt would miss the sea and like the drunkards curse is that old whiskey still nothing in life gives me my fill like a sweet pair, two of a kind a king and queen, aces high I wanna go back to the good ol days roll my way into a brand new game dealer deal me in another hand bring back them good times once again Cuz life is a gamble you take your chance lay your money down and place your bets win some and baby lose some they say but you lay it on the line see if it pays and like the drunkards curse is that old whiskey still nothing in this life gives me my thrill like a sweet pair two of a kind king and queen aces high 7 come 11 and we cashed in Copyright: Bluesky Firehorse songs ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

We saw scattered sun coming down like a waterfall we saw lonely clouds wandering across the mountain top i remember sunshine and I remember rain I was raised right honest and true born a miracle for my mommas blues took a rode less travelled to find my way I'll be walking till my dying day and I remember white lines and I remember the haze If you've one time round the wheel ya better hold fast to the time you steal my friend Well Momma tried to do her best gave us kids everything we'd need when she was laid to rest her burdens fell and she was free I remember singing and I remember the pain If there's one time round the wheel you better hold fast to the time you steal my friend Nothing lasts it comes and goes sometimes fast and sometimes slow born crying no one knows your name and when you die it'll all be the same but i know your face and i know your name If you've one time round the wheel you better hold fast to the time you steal my friend If you've one time round the wheel you better hold fast to the time you steal my friend Copyright: Bluesky Firehorse songs ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

There's a whiskey rebellion coming to this town all our chains be falling no more will we be bound daylight will be breaking like the heart of this town and the tax man he'll be swinging with his head hung down swinging with his head hung down Justice comes swift hanging from a tree and it will surely come if you tax our liberty a shameful pall will fill the air and it can only be lifted when they've hanged and we've been set free Ah when we've been set free open up them cases pass them bottles round tomorrow we won't care if that liquor is gone this old towns been dry for so long now tonite we'll drink with the devil boys and tomorrow... Look over yonder see an angel on the hill smiling down on us as we drink our fill maybe it's a devil and he's in disguise but I believe in whiskey cuz the whiskey tells no lies yeah the whiskey tells no lies open up them cases pass them bottles round tomorrow we won't care if that liquor is gone this old towns been dry for so long now tonite we'll drink with the devil boys and tomorrow we'll be damned There's a whiskey rebellion coming to this town Copyright: Bluesky Firehorse songs ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

I've been waving my lantern at that runaway train Can't stop her leaving, I can't stop believing nothing will kill the pain There ain't no stop loss end in sight no holding you till the morning light kick and scream all through the night without you Cuz I miss you damn near every day seems I try something new I yell at the sun I cry to the moon it's the same whatever I do Lord I just want you here with me that ain't no lie at all nothing will bring you back to me since the trains rolled on Still I hold on to the runaway train Lord I'm trying to keep my grip she rolls on down the line Lord the memories of you they slip so far and fast into the night deep and wide and out of sight the dream is gone still I hold on to you It's all I can do I've been waving my lantern at that runaway train Copyright: Bluesky Firehorse songs ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

She was a muse a dying day a flower in the sun can't get away shining like she'd never fade away He was no more a boy than a man and from the first time he held her hand knew he would never be the same It's a leap of faith and now they're on their way They married in the summer honeymoon along the Seine and they were feeling like a good spring rain knowing things would never change It's a leap of faith and now they're on their way There's no reason and there's no rhyme Love is one thing can't be defined what comes and what goes what's gone and what's missed a thing like love you can't resist no reason why It's funny how time can have a way of bringing true what you can't explain some things last some just slip on away but for 42 years they wore that ball and chain and if you ask them both they'd do it again would not change one single day it's a leap of faith and now they're on their way its a leap of faith and now they're on their way its a leap of faith and now they're on their way Copyright: Bluesky Firehorse songs ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

God Bless Johnny Cash God save this whole damn world feel me in the flesh before I am dead and gone before I'm dead and gone Let's jump that old greyhound bus and take it till the wheels fall off just you and me and no one else we are the ones we've been waiting for not waiting any more I have only one card I'd play and I would lay it all on the line I would help you forgive all the heartbreak you can find and I'd do it all better now I'd be different this time Cuz I've walked the line my friend forward and back and round and round and I know there's no going back time is a wheel and it turns without a sound can you hear me now You have worn a long black veil and I still miss someone but in my life and without fail you're the arrow straight to the heart fly and set me free So God Bless Old Johnny Cash God Save this whole damn world feel me in the flesh before I am dead and gone before I'm dead and gone Copyright: Bluesky Firehorse songs ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
